1. Replacement Policy

Unless otherwise agreed at the time of purchase, customers will receive an identical, rebuilt, pre-boxed, and ready-to-ship actuator, not the exact unit originally removed from their vehicle.

2. Lifetime Warranty

We offer a lifetime warranty on eligible actuator rebuilds under the following conditions:

2.1 Warranty Eligibility

The warranty is valid only if all the following criteria are met:

1. The complete mechanical and electrical rebuild has been performed by Rebuild Actuators Ltd.

2. The actuator features our laser-engraved logo (or that of an approved reseller).

3. Warranty security stickers are intact and untampered.

2.2 Warranty Exclusions

The lifetime warranty does not apply in the following cases:

1. Partial rebuilds carried out by third parties (individuals or businesses).

2. Replacement of internal components (e.g., gears or MOSFETs) only, without a full rebuild by Rebuild Actuators Ltd.

3. Costs related to actuator removal, reinstallation, or labour (including services from mobile mechanics, whose travel or labour charges are the customer's responsibility).

4. Any actuator with tampered, removed, or destroyed warranty stickers—this will automatically void the warranty.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Shipping & Customs

When sending actuators to us:

• Declare the value as £25.00 and describe the contents as "broken car parts". This reflects the scrap metal value.

• If a higher value or different description is declared, Rebuild Actuators Ltd is not responsible for any excess import or delivery duties. The customer is liable, and improperly declared parcels may be returned to sender.

3.2 Import Duties

Customers are responsible for all customs, duties, or release fees in their country of origin.

3.3 Warranty Excess Fee

A £75.00 excess fee per unit applies to:

• Warranty claims for rebuilds completed over 2 years ago, or

• Warranty claims made by new vehicle owners (i.e., ownership changed since the original rebuild).

3.4 Return Shipping

If an actuator is sent to us and no rebuild is carried out (e.g., if it’s not required), the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

4. Gear Kits

Our gear kits are sold as a preventative measure only. The only comprehensive solution to actuator failure is a full electrical and mechanical rebuild performed by Rebuild Actuators Ltd.

5. Deposit Refunds

Refunds of any deposits are only issued upon receipt of your original broken actuator. No deposit refunds will be made under any other circumstances.

6. Data and Privacy

We do not store, retain, or share any personal data, including names, contact details, or payment information. We do not sell or transmit data to any third parties or use it for marketing purposes.

7. Modifications to Terms

Rebuild Actuators Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, including prices and service conditions, at any time as our business evolves. Updated terms will be made available on our website.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
